Balenciaga Triple S Trainers
There’s been quite a debate about sneakers and trainers evolving to share similar silhouettes, though they serve completely different purposes. And the brand at the heart of this conversation is Balenciaga. As a classic, the Triple S Sneaker is a collectible that boasts a complex three-layered sole inspired by running, athletics and basketball sneakers archetypes. Adidas Samba RM Cloud White
The Samba silhouette has had a cult following since its initial launch in the 1950s, and has been Adidas’ yardstick in the sneaker evolution. Earlier this year, we saw the Samba RM debut in black and an ice-blue colourway and recently, the brand dropped its Cloud White edition alongside the Core Black. Cloud White sees the shoe rendered in white leather and mesh, with beige nubuck on the toe, tongue, and heel. The translucent out-sole is also beige. Both sneakers also feature the ‘S4M3A’ logo on the quarter panel.
Nike Classic Cortez
The Nike Classic Cortez shoe has been the brand’s ace runner since 1972. While the Cortez collection does come in two other colourways, we’ve picked the classic white. The black Swoosh has been badged on and creates an exceptional contrast against the clear white. This version features a leather and synthetic leather construction for added durability.

As they celebrate Mickey’s 90th Anniversary, Asics Tiger dropped a limited-edition Gel-PTG sneaker based on ’80s basketball silhouettes and subtle Disney motifs. An all-over leather execution with a perforated vamp makes it a breathable choice for all-day wear, while a rubber out-sole provides much-needed grip and pivot points to allow quick movements.
Reebok Aztrek BW-White
The Cardi B-approved quintessential 90s retro runner is Reebok’s flagship summer sneaker. Hexalite technology softens impact through unique hexagonal cushioning, so you’ve got comfort covered. The sneaker is much sportier in appearance if compared to other pairs on this list. It’s Reebok’s clear-cut, no-bluff sneaker and we’re loving it for its simple elegance.
