If Met Ball is all about spectacular gowns and a whole lot of drama, the Cannes Film Festival red carpet is known for its exquisite jewels. Some of the biggest movie stars take to the red carpet, posing for shutterbugs in the best of couture. However, equally in the spotlight are jewels from the some of the most revered brands, which only build the the glamour. Over the past 72, the Cannes Film Festival has seen the most renowned actors don some of the most beautiful jewellery pieces. From Sophia Loren’s and Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic tiaras to Jessica Chastain and Natasha Polly’s classic Bulgari Serpenti neckpieces, precious jewellery has become an inseparable part of the Cannes fashion vocabulary.
