Watch lovers, there’s a new store in town to indulge in all things horology. Hublot, one of the most popular watch brands in the country, has opened its very first boutique in India. Located in Palladium Mall, Mumbai, the store was inaugurated by cricketer and brand ambassador Kevin Pietersen, along with Ricardo Guadalupe, chief executive officer.
Paying tribute to global art, the boutique is decorated with Pop Art paintings inspired by the iconic Big Bang collection, their most successful line yet. The nearly 500 sq ft store also showcases a cricket kit accompanied by the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph, a nod to the brand’s association with the ICC World Cup ’19 where it was the official timekeeper.
The boutique is set to be a one-stop destination for everything Hublot related, stocking several novelties and collections from the brand. “This opening demonstrates not only the success of the brand, which goes from strength to strength since the birth of the iconic Big Bang in 2005, but also Hublot’s willingness to constantly challenge fine watchmaking by fusing tradition with innovation, while offering the highest level of service to its clients,” said Ricardo Guadalupe about the importance of offering a boutique experience to customers and the younger demographic they aim to attract. “Today marks a new milestone for Hublot, and the Mumbai Boutique will, for sure, serve as a spring board for Hublot in India.”
Guadalupe and Pieterson were accompanied by Yasho Saboo, Chairman of Ethos Watches and Jonathan Stalder, director, at the inauguration. As the brand ambassador, Pieterson also represented his platform SORAI (Save Our Rhino Africa India) and its association with the brand. Hublot India is planning to extend their boutique services to Delhi and Bengaluru.
