Our brands

COVID-19 has had its impact on the watch industry, what with Watches and Wonders 2020 going digital, and Baselworld being cancelled. And while one might expect the availability of new watches to be staggered, Longines isn’t sitting back.  The brand has refreshed its 1992 La Grande Classique de Longines, while retaining its signature emotion of minimalism and timeless elegance.

One of the oldest watchmakers, the La Grande Classique de Longines has served as a pillar for the winged hourglass brand alongside its aviation-inspired novelties. Keeping its classic cues in mind, the collection serves both men and women, and has always made a statement with elegance.

While the collection maintains its super-slim silhouette in steel and the signature back still serves as the bracelet’s lugs, the case sizes vary from 24mm to 37mm — the one featured below comes in at 33mm. If you aren’t a fan of stainless steel, there are the options of yellow and pink PVD. When it comes to its dial, Longines hits some of the most regal shades of the colour palette — white mother-of-pearl, black, blue, brown, silver, and gold.

In terms of design, the dials alternate between Roman numeral indices and 12 Wesselton VS-SI diamonds. All of this comes in two strap options — leather and steel bracelet. If you pick a leather strap, there is the option of blue and black. On the other hand, the bracelets alternate between yellow, pink PVD, and steel. With all these elements at play, this is a collection perfect for minimalists and those who prefer timeless aesthetics.

The new collection will be available at select boutiques.
