Our brands

The bond between luxury watchmaking and sports is truly eternal, and if there’s one brand that embraces this emotion best, it’s Tissot. For 2020, the Swiss watchmaker has refreshed an iconic line with inspiration from one of the world’s most exhilarating sports, rubgy, to create the new Tissot SuperSport Chrono.

The new eight-piece line was first introduced at the Tissot Brand Summit earlier in February this year, and was the highlight of their offerings for the year. Being intimately tied with the spirit of rugby, the line represents four ‘cores’ — sportsmanship, physical versatility, courage, and the elegance of framed formations — making it a true luxury sports watch.

There are eight variations, with a similar triple sub-dial design followed in all. Cases include black, stainless steel, and rose gold PVD, flanked by black and brown leather straps. Dials include three in matte black, an ice white, and a blue as well, the last being our pick when it comes to casual dressing.

The Tissot SuperSport Chrono comes with a multitude of sporty complications. First, as the name suggests, there’s a triple sub-dial chronograph that’s accurate to the tenth of a second. At 6 o’clock, you’ll see a date window and a tachymetric scale gradated up to 400 kmph on its bezel to complete the pack. To add to its sporty appeal, the indices and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® to offer around-the-clock accuracy. All of this powered by an ETA 10.212 calibre quartz.

We’d pick the rose gold PVD to be paired with a suit or blazer. The others look like they belong on a pitch as a sportswear accessory with a cool style edge — pair them with polo tees or the appropriate dress code for that sport.

With respect to safety regulations being followed due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Supersport Chrono will be available in stores towards the end of April (subject to market conditions). It will be available for retail online around the same time.

Price upon request.
