Its travel wing was inaugurated in 2008, to introduce their members to the diverse cultures of the world. They meet quarterly to discuss the latest exotic destinations with a guest speaker, and have so far been to Russia, Morocco, Oman, Spain, New Zealand, Japan, among other countries.

The region’s first women-owned and -run travel company, LWTC organises different trips through Ladakh. Trekking, home stays, monastery visits, Nubra Valley, and Pangong Tso lake trips can be undertaken through them. While they encourage women to take solo trips or women-only groups, men are welcome to join as well. Their entourage of guides and porters are all-women, working towards creating employment for the gender in the region.
