Who would have thought that one of the most talented and skilled actors in Bollywood today, Huma Qureshi, would be so relatable?

In another edition of That’s So Millennial, we speak with Huma Qureshi about all things cool and hip — things that young millennials can relate to. From using predictable emojis to describe her mood to being part of cringe-y family WhatsApp groups that she loathes — Qureshi drops some truth bombs that we believe everyone needs to hear.

Caught candid and off-the-record at Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat and Spa in Maharashtra, Qureshi flaunts an inviting boho-chic look, all in warm colours that are just perfect for this season’s summer getaway. Her wavy hair displays a sense of unruffled nonchalance, while her sweet and welcoming disposition lets us in on this Delhi girl’s secrets. Did you know the one thing Qureshi has managed to master in the lockdown? Yes, bedroom dressing. As proud as she is of this, we millennials are equally proud of the sheer randomness of her thoughts. And she also spills the tea on who she religiously follows on Instagram — Kusha Kapila and Mallika Dua, among others.

Huma Qureshi also weighs in on what is her preference between skin-tight jeans and bell-bottoms. And no points for guessing — it is indeed bell-bottoms. Next to be seen in the upcoming 2021 film Bell Bottom opposite Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, and Lara Dutta, Qureshi was last seen in Maharani, the hangover of which we’re still trying to shake off.

While both films are inspired by true events, Qureshi sure knows how to lend a personal touch to a distinct character, making it all her own. Considering how generous 2021 has been to her, it is definitely a film we can’t wait to watch next.
