It has finally happened – the grand festivities of Isha Ambani, the daughter of India’s richest man, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani with Piramal scion, Anand at the Ambanis’ Altamount Road residence, Antilia on December 12. And that’s just not it, the week-long pre-wedding festivities and the biggest Reception party at Jio Garden did get us a peek into the lavish get-togethers with the host alongside Bollywood attendees and business acquaintances of repute from all over the country. A high-profile wedding like this had its own fan following on Instagram and social media and just like everyone, we wanted a peek into Isha Ambani’s bridal wardrobe. So, here’s a look at all the gorgeous looks the bride wore and where they came from.
The Dandiya Raas Night
A hand-embroidered Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla lehenga that was from the couture collection with intricate mirror and thread work.
Grih Shanti Pooja
The glamorous bride wore a custom Sabyasachi outfit for her Graha Shanti Pooja, a white lehenga with red embroidery and intricate florals. The regal custom handpainted tilla work lehenga with an antique bandhej dupatta alongside a beautiful haar and set featuring uncut syndicate diamonds and Zambian emeralds from the Sabyasachi Heritage Collection.
This function in Udaipur saw Isha looking ethereal in a pink and silver embroidered lehenga from the house of Manish Malhotra.
It was a glam Manish Malhotra lehenga in gold for the bride who decided to go high-octane glam at her Sangeet.
The wedding lehenga was a bespoke Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation that was customised to all the love she has for her mother with Nita Ambani’s wedding sari, a 35-year-old heirloom piece added onto her own bridal lehenga. The lehenga was further enhanced with intricate red zardozi borders alongside mukaish and nakshi work. The 16-panelled lehenga made with two shades of off-white came with mughal jaalis and floral panels.
The bride sported yet another bespoke Sabyasachi outfit in velvet from his zardosi revival series embellished with salma-sitara, dabka and bullion work.
Gold has her favourite hue to wear throughout her wedding ceremonies for Isha and this last outfit just blew our minds. The delicately embellished gold and ivory lehenga with richly textured gold and silver floral motifs was custom created by Italian fashion house, Valentino for Isha Ambani.
