We’re back to enable you with a stunning array of new beauty releases this March 2020.
With nowhere to travel to thanks to a particular virus, staying put in one place seems pretty boring. Luckily, you can entertain yourself with a spot of shopping. The new releases in March 2020 are pretty varied, from makeup to luxe perfumes, and also skincare.
One thing we’re particularly excited about is the launch of Hermes Beauty in Malaysia (on March 4th) and with it, a stunning array of lipsticks.
As International Women’s Day falls in March as well, you can do your part by purchasing a product from L’Occitane in conjunction with the celebration. The L’Occitane Foundation will be donating 100% of its profits to finance NGO projects in promoting women’s leadership in Burkina Faso. If that isn’t reason enough to purchase this product, we don’t know what is.
But just in case you’re itching to purchase more items, we’ve rounded up eight of the newest beauty releases this March 2020 below.
Hermes is finally foraying into cosmetics with the first products being lipsticks. Rouge Hermes has a total of 24 shades in two finishes: matte and satin. Our favourite part of the lipsticks is that they are refillable – no wastage here for the cases. There is also a lip brush and a universal lip pencil in the mix to ensure your pout is perfect. Hermes Beauty launches in Malaysia on March 4th and is available at Parkson Elite in Pavilion KL.

This International Women’s Day, do your part by purchasing the Women’s Day Solidarity Balm. This multi-purpose balm is powered by 97.9% shea butter with a new hibiscus floral scent to pay homage to the native flower of Burkina Faso. By purchasing the Women’s Day Solidarity Balm, 100% of the profits from this will finance NGO projects to promote women’s leadership in Burkina Faso with the support of the L’Occitane Foundation.

Les Parfums Louis Vuitton releases its 11th perfume: Heures d’Absence. The name was first conceived in 1972 by Louis Vuitton himself, but the original formula was sadly lost. For the modern iteration, perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud decided to reimagine it in his own way. The result is a fresh floral perfume, a homage to Grasse. Notes of jasmine, rose, mimosa, raspberry, sandalwood, and musk dress up the perfume, making it another perfect collectable.

If your thirsty skin loved the Laneige Cream Skin range, then you’ll be delighted to know that the Korean skincare brand is adding three more products to the line. There’s the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner Mist, a Quick Skin Pack, and the Milk Oil Cleanser. The Refiner Mist is formulated with the line’s Cream Blending technology to provide moisture and strengthen the skin’s barrier. It’s also powered with White Leaf Tea Water that’s rich in amino acids. It’s perfect to bring around with you for moisture on-the-go. Simply spritz it onto your face to deeply moisturise skin.
Next, the Quick Skin Pack is a toner mask in a jar fortified with the Cream Skin Refiner ingredients. This two-minute toner mask is an extremely quick fix to get your moisture in so you can head out immediately.
Finally, the Milk Oil Cleanser is the perfect answer to your oil cleansing woes. This one won’t leave a greasy film on your skin after. Use it as your first cleansing step to remove makeup. The best part? You don’t need to emulsify this solution with water – simply rinse it off.

Goutal Paris will be launching the Chat Perche EDT and Tender Body Milk, an ode to the sweet nostalgia of childhood and mischief. Think along the lines of lemon blossom, nasturtium, and sweet pea – these notes make up the delicate fragrance of Chat Perche. After launching a collection of delightful lipsticks, Gucci Beauty finally announces another addition to its makeup family: the Mascara L’Obscur. This buildable mascara comes in just one shade – a pure and intense black with a creamy and rich texture. It’s designed to not smudge, flake, feather, or migrate when it dries down. The brush is a flexible elastomer made for ease of application, while the thin brush tip is designed for hard-to-reach, small lashes on the top and bottom corners of the eyes. It has a long-wearing finish of up to 12 hours. It’s available at the Gucci Beauty store in Suria KLCC.
