With Valentine’s Day soon approaching, many are going to be scrambling for the most romantic ideas to surprise and please their significant other. Whether it is a special dining experience under the stars at one of the best rooftop restaurants in KL or treating them to a staycation in the city, you have got to plan them early if you’re looking at executing the perfect plan.

But if you have nothing planned yet, Resorts World Genting invites you to a dinner for two at any of its restaurants and end the night with Ronan Keating who will be returning to Malaysia to serenade his Malaysian fans especially on Valentine’s Day.

There are plenty to choose from when it comes to dining in Genting Highlands especially with numerous Valentine’s Day promotions to feast on. If you’re feeling indulgent, head over to The Olive for its four-course set menu comprising a crab and watermelon appetiser, Bouillabaisse with poached lobster and shellfish soup, a choice of lamb loin or chicken roulade for main, and a dessert of buttermilk pannacotta, boba pearls, lychee, raspberry and rose consomme. Exclusively for this special occasion, the menu is priced at RM299 nett and is available from 6.00 pm until 11.00 pm.

Alternatively, lovebirds can check out La Fiesta at the first level of Sky Avenue where a two-course Spanish menu awaits at only RM148.00 nett for two persons. Enjoy a selection of Spanish tapas followed by traditional churros served with cinnamon, sugar and chocolate dip. The menu is also paired with two glasses of house wine — choose between the red Hermanos Lurton Tempranillo or Verdejo, a white wine option. There’s also the Park Avenue Lounge if you’re up for hi-tea. At RM139.00 for two pax, it is something not to be missed especially if you’re planning to head up to Genting Highlands early on that day.

If you and your other half both enjoy seafood, Burger & Lobster is offering the Tower of Love comprising one original lobster, one Mayfair beef burger, one Seven samurai roll and two glasses of non-alcoholic drinks for only RM388 nett.

The Tower of Love is a decadent feast at Burger & Lobster, Sky Avenue.

And for those who prefer a quieter setting away from the crowd, Flavours Cafe located at the lobby of Awana Genting is offering an elaborate four-course set dinner featuring hors d’oeuvre, creamy asparagus with basil pesto oil soup and a main course of grilled Marble 5 wagyu beef with saffron scallop and angel hair pasta. Finish off with the blood orange mousse for dessert with a glass of wine to pair. The menu, available from 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm is priced at RM170 nett per couple or RM88 per person.
