Two months after opening their brand new space to the public in Pavilion KL, Jaeger-LeCoultre hosted around 350 guests to a night of cocktails and champagne in the grand reopening of its flagship boutique in Malaysia on 25 September. Jaeger-LeCoultre Deputy CEO Geoffroy Lefebvre led the ribbon-cutting ceremony together with the brand’s Southeast Asia and Oceania Managing Director Maxence Kinget, and Country Manager for Malaysia and Vietnam, Reena Tan.
Lefebvre welcomed everyone to one of the brand’s biggest watch destinations in Southeast Asia. Located in a prime spot right next to Pavilion Centre Court on the second floor, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre store measures an impressive 1,500 square feet. Distinguished guests — including Swiss Embassy’s Charge d’affaires to Malaysia Werner Bardill, Pavilion KL CEO Joyce Yap, as well as actresses Fyza Kadir and Siti Saleha — were then led to the Pavilion Centre Court, where they were serenaded by Canadian artist, Janaia.
Models also sashayed down the catwalk, wearing iconic and show-stopping timepieces such as the Hybris Artistica Mysterieuse, Reverso Tribute Gyrotoubillon, The Master Minute Repeater Ultra Thin, some Enamel pieces with paintings from Van Gogh, and an array of high jewellery pieces from the Rendez-Vous collection. They also posed beside displayed vintage pocket watches, which were specifically brought in for the glamorous occasion.
