This year, Starhill Gallery Fashion Week featured three talented, up-and-coming Southeast Asian couturiers — Celest Thoi, Nurita Harnith and Syomir Izwa Sen-Gupta — and their Spring/Summer 2017 collections.
Each designer had their own story to tell. Thoi presented something a little different from her signature bridal wear, while Nurita Harnith played with draping and earthy, muted colours, and Syomir Izwa Sen-Gupta went back in time to revisit the life of young Yoko Ono.
