In celebration of LORD’s 1974‘s new flagship store at The Gardens Mall, we caught up with the brand’s ambassadors to talk about their very first suit, and what makes LORD’s 1974 their go-to premium tailor.
Sure enough, everyone echoed the same sentiment: LORD’s 1974 has a genuine care for quality and customer service. This has been the cornerstone of the brand’s philosophy since its inception. Indeed, after 40 decades in the industry, founder Robert Loh, and his son (also the brand’s creative director), Kenny Loh, still personally handle fittings, cuttings and in-house production to ensure the best for every customer. And suits aren’t just for men, either. Model Amber Chia spoke about how confident and empowered she feels wearing bespoke suits by LORD’s 1974, and has been hooked on wearing power suits ever since.
It was a night to pay tribute to ambassadors such as Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, Dato’ Lee Chong Wei, Amber Chia and more, but also a testament of the brand’s heritage and what’s to come.
