Wouldn’t it be great if we could pause time? November is coming to an end very soon and the last month of 2017 (which also means all of the festivities) is approaching real quick. If you haven’t gotten the time to do some Christmas or New Year shopping like us, these new openings in Kuala Lumpur may help by narrowing down your boutique selections.
Bottega Veneta
This is Bottega Veneta‘s second store in Malaysia (first one is in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur) and also the first to follow the Milan store concept — using the idea of lightness, spaciousness, and intimacy. Bright materials are used to support the concept, with custom-made elements such as walnut tablets, handcrafted vitrines, and door handles that reflects Bottega Veneta’s qualities: outstanding craftsmanship, timeless yet innovative design, contemporary functionality, and the highest quality materials. Starting January 2018, the store will offer the possibility of personalising selected women’s and men’s iconic leather goods through the Customisation Atelier service.

Diptyque
Malaysia’s first Diptyque store also happens to be the first in Southeast Asia. This corner store is clad in glass, with two ample windows — which forms a diptych, and the brand’s collections are the main attraction on this ‘stage’. The interior is heavily inspired by the Malaysian culture, as seen with the motifs and materials, and the floor’s ‘Wau‘ pattern is painted on by hand. It’s warm and inviting for visitors to come and explore the brand’s offerings while surrounded by rich cultural references.

Longchamp
Matching the theme of the Longchamp‘s latest it-bag, the boutique follows the Mademoiselle Longchamp concept with a special Mademoiselle Longchamp Neon wall and a Parisian Hausmann style apartment to create an elegant atmosphere of “French chic”. The 2,000 square-feet boutique also features contrasting textures of marble, wood, leather and fabric, similar to the Paris flagship at Rue Saint-Honoré. This is also the brand’s biggest boutique in Malaysia.

Clé de Peau Beauté
Located in busy Isetan KLCC, is Clé de Peau Beauté‘s newly expanded counter — just in time for the holiday season. The space now has an extended Radiance Counter, giving the overall concept a much fresher appeal in its larger space. The main center piece décor is the Radiance Wall, which resembles the brand’s star product, La Créme. The counter is divided into four main zones: the gallery, the dresser, the salon and the facial cabin — all aimed at inspiring women to unlock the radiance within them.
