It seems all the beautiful people in Kuala Lumpur came out of hiding to see the second batch of runway shows at the KL Fashion Week Ready-To-Wear 2017 on Thursday, 17 August. The city’s most fashionable were dressed to impress — embodying the sophistication and style Malaysia has to offer.
From actors and music artists to fashion designers and models, these glamorous celebrities and personalities stormed the trendy Pavillon KL in show of their support for their favourite Malaysian designers. The list of names? Think along the lines of fashion designers Nabil Volkers, Eric Choong and Andy Bandy, as well as fashion labels like Thavia and Mimpikita.
Most of Malaysia’s glitterati were out in full force. Actresses Zahida Rafik and Ruzana Ibrahim, rapper and songwriter Hunny Madu, and socialite Elana Yaacob were spotted at Malaysian designer Farah Khan’s show. The event also saw several fashion enthusiasts hailing from Manila, Shanghai, and Paris who flew in just to see Malaysia’s biggest fashion event.
While we had to make many tough choices to narrow the list down to just 10, it really was a joy to photograph the most stylish guests last night. Click through this KL Fashion Week 2017 Day 2 to see what we mean.
