Here’s another cafe worth adding to your list. Belly and the Chef Dining is an industrial-like dream with its minimal ambience filled with Instagram-worthy corners. In collaboration with Zen & Co, this cafe serves an array of dishes that fuses Western and Japanese cuisine. You’ll find hot plates to order from Osaka Sea Urchin Pasta, Kobe Wagyu Rib Eye Steak, Smoke Duck Rissoto, Tuna Tataki bowl, and so much more. Niko Neko’s matcha also graces the drinks menu, serving varieties of thirst-quenching drink options from juices, tea and coffee. Best part? It’s Muslim-friendly too.

Staying at Puchong and need a place to hide out for a while? Head over to Luckee Canteen if you happen to be in the area. It’s not hard to spot the space when you’re greeted by a window display/seating area to peek into as soon as you arrive. Although the cafe is currently hosting its soft launch, you still get to enjoy comforting meals from pasta to a crispy pork lard rice with onsen egg and fried chicken goodness. Don’t be fooled by the wooden door and frosted windows when you arrive, as you’re in for a treat once you enter those doors. Located at Taman SEA, this cooling and bright space have a certain charm that could easily transport us to a holiday destination in mind with its blue wall and comfy furniture. This two-storey space boasts a wide range of menu from pastries to hot dishes and their speciality Portuguese egg tarts. What do we recommend? The grilled marrow with sourdough bread on the side and eggs benedict.
