Eat out but stay safe at these dining events in KL happening in September 2020.

Just yesterday, Malaysia chalked up 100 new positive COVID-19 cases. While they’re mostly outside of KL, we still need to remain vigilant especially when conducting activities outside of our homes. Dine out, but dine safely.

Preaching aside, we have one last public holiday this September 16th before needing to wait a whole month for another at the end of October. It’s time to put those leaves to good use and plan your dates out, and there’s no better way than to book a slot at one of these dining events happening in KL.

The Feast of Versailles at The Brasserie, St. Regis KL

Inspired by 100 years of fine French gastronomy served at the Palace of Versailles, The Brasserie at St. Regis KL is presenting The Feast of Versailles. The four-hands experience will be conducted by Chef de Cuisine Clement Torrente and Executive Pastry Chef Gael Moutet and features ingredients grown in the palace’s Gardens, the Orangerie, and the nearby Potager du Roi. These are delicacies that were first introduced to France and French cuisine, making this tasting menu an excellent way to travel not just to France, but back in time to when French cuisine first started.

The Feast of Versailles menu will only be served once a month, with this month’s being September 25th, 2020. The menu also comes with an option to pair each course with wines or cocktails inspired by the royals who resided at the palace.

Devesa Argentinian Beef at PRIME, Le Meridien KL

Once again, PRIME at Le Meridien KL has obtained a one-month right to debut the award-winning Devesa Argentinian Beef (Azul Natural Beef S.A.). Happening only in September, this promotion marks the very first time that the halal-certified beef from Argentina will be made available in the Malaysian market. Previously, beef distribution from Argentina was halted in 2010 due to stricter halal regulations. What makes the Devesa Argentinian Beef so special is thanks to its flavour, texture, and colour. Argentinian beef is considered one of the best in the world, and this particular variant has a rigorous selection of the finest breed of cattle from the Argentinian Pampas Region.

Over at PRIME, you can enjoy the Devesa Chilled Argentinian 120 Days Grain Fed Beef in a Tenderloin, Ribeye, Sirloin, Bavette, or Matambre cut steaks.
