Malaysia’s sole entry in the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list, Dewakan will soon reopen its doors at the new address located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city centre. After months of renovation, Dewakan now finds its home on the 48th floor of Skyviews, Naza Tower in Platinum Park KLCC — sharing the same address as BlackByrd KL and Dragonfly. The long-awaited news is music to the ears of many loyal patrons of the restaurant following its temporary closure at its previous location in Glenmarie, Shah Alam to pave way for a new chapter at the acclaimed restaurant.

While restaurant-owner Darren Teoh has remained quiet on the new restaurant’s whereabouts, the secret is now out on his official Instagram page earlier today.

The relocation is expected to come with a new menu that follows Dewakan’s ethos from its very humble beginnings. Locavorism and its nod to local produce have been the backbone of Dewakan, and this is something that continues to make the modern Malaysian restaurant unique in its own ways.

Patrons can expect nothing less than magnificence in the interiors with sweeping views of the city centre. The strategic location would also position Dewakan as a must-visit restaurant for inbound tourists and ardent foodies from the region over, especially those who are looking to experience novelty dishes that harness true blue Malaysian flavours.

Reservations are now open for seatings beginning 16th December 2019 and can be made here.
