6 new bars to celebrate the festive season in TREC KL from December 2017 onwards

The lights and sounds of Christmas have been making Kuala Lumpur livelier than it usually is, along with the rush of holiday festivities and New Year celebrations. During this crazy time of the year, you might find yourself frequenting the same bars and restaurants to attend company Christmas parties or annual gatherings with your mates.

So, before you get tired of the venues you’re probably going to be rushing to next month, we have some good news to share: at least six new bars and restaurants are scheduled to open at TREC KL — the largest entertainment as well as food and beverage estate in the heart of KL.

Following the official launch of Cafe Society and China Bar KL in October, the scheduled openings of Drop and Fu Luck Bar this month are another welcome development for those tasked to plan end-of-the-year events and other office functions around this time of the year. The new venues brings the total number of brands at the entertainment compound along Jalan Tun Razak to a total of 40 brands. This comes after multi-faceted Korean bar and restaurant YG Republique as well as 1960s-themed Gasoline Bar and cocktail bar The Mojito Man opened its doors to the public at TREC KL’s Alcove block earlier.

If you’re in search for new party venues this festive season, scroll down for the newest bars in TREC KL for a Christmas and New Year celebration to remember.

Cafe Society Kuala Lumpur
Your search for a new venue for live music is over. Featuring steampunk interiors, Cafe Society is an industrial venue that plays one of the best rock and pop music in Kuala Lumpur — perfect for non-dance party people.

Aside from hosting parties and big groups, this retro gas station bar also takes reservations or walk-in customers in search of a mind-blowing experience at TREC KL.

China Bar KL

Inspired by the huge success of The China Bar flagship in Hong Kong’s entertainment district at Lan Kwai Fong, the oriental-themed bar in Kuala Lumpur concocts luscious cocktails along with a wide selection of fine wines, draught beers, bottled beers and spirits. It also offers an extensive range of dining options from snacks to classic main courses before resident DJs pick up the pace at its luxurious and spacious dance floor.
