Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur is the first hotel to take shape in Chinatown in the heart of the city. As the sleepless town wakes up when the sun sets, the hotel’s in-house bar known as Jann is looking to stir things up in the neighbourhood. Jann focuses primarily on its cocktails that tells a story of the Chinatown of old. Its creativity is key by linking back its drinks to the history of Chinatown’s inhabitants.

If you’re in the hunt for some craft beers, be sure to look out for Farmer’s Bar. There are already three outlets statewide and the latest is in Subang Parade. Not only does it have a wide and varied craft beer bar, but it also features a carefree and easy atmosphere. When night comes, it serves up Japanese-inspired yakitori dishes to snack on. This should go perfectly with many of its craft beers.
Envi Skydining is the latest addition to the many rooftop restaurant and bars that are scattered across Kuala Lumpur. Its located on the 36th floor of Menara TA One and is just a stone’s throw away from the Petronas Twin Towers. Its rooftop fusion dining and bar combination offers a refreshing view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline in a swanky setting. Needless to say, it’s great for dates with loved ones, dinners with friends and family, or even private events.
KL still has some ways to go when it comes to providing a variety of meals for both vegans and vegetarians. The Hungry Tapir is looking to hit three birds with one stone, offering delicious meals for vegans and vegetarians as well as quenching your thirst with Sabah-inspired craft rice wine cocktails. Its drinks are not particularly strong but it does feature ingredients that are great for your health like ginseng and ginger.
MoMo’s Kuala Lumpur is one of the many up-and-coming boutique hotels in the city and with it, its MoMosita Taco Bar. This self-service taqueria and sidewalk cafe offers a unique dining experience like no other. It doubles as both a casual hangout spot as well as a place to pop by for a quick bite and a drink. Of course, the entire concept of MoMosita Taco Bar comes from Christian Bauer and Eddie Chew of Troika Sky Dining.
