When the champagne is this exquisite, would you drink or display it?

A chilled flute of Dom Pérignon Rosé champagne is best paired with good company and fine, exquisite jewellery — courtesy of Bulgari. A collaboration that embodies that very essence of indulgent decadence, the two luxury houses have joined forces in a limited-edition homage to the Dom Pérignon Rosé 2004.

Wrapped around the neck of the magnum bottles is a bespoke Serpenti necklace, customised in pink-gold and glistening — dripping, even — in white diamonds and onyx. Notice, too, the surface of the bottles, which is embossed with subtle scores of hexagonal scales in the reflection of Bulgari’s serpentine motif.

On the nose, the 2004 Vintage is heady with red currants, wild strawberries, ripe hay, blood orange and cocoa. A smooth taste touches the palate, tinged with a surprising shock of green citrus at the finish.
