Porsche has outdone itself yet again with the launch of the new Porsche Panamera. The second generation model enjoys a combination of comfort, performance, luxury and efficiency in a the form of a beautiful luxury sports saloon. From having a built-in ioniser to massage functions for individual seats (this got us), the new Porsche Panamera is set to be the go-to sports car suitable for business and daily use, thanks to its many luxurious features.

The interior can be personalised to your desired combination of ten interior colour and leather schemes.

Form meets function in this four-seat Gran Turismo concept car. The individual seats are luxurious, with the option of fitting each one with a 14-way electric seat adjuster. Optional for the Panamera 4S and Panamera 4S Diesel, this feature allows passengers to control the height and longitudinal adjustments, seat and backrest tilt, seat surface length and four-way lumbar supports. The cherry on top, however, is the option of equipping each seat with ventilation and massage functions. This way, each ride is sure to be a pleasure.

For the first time, there’s also the choice of including a panoramic roof system. Made up of two glass surfaces, the front part is designed as a tilt roof while the rear is a fixed glass roof. Passengers can now enjoy ample natural daylight without worrying if the sunlight is too strong — there are also two separately operated shades to help with dimming.

Only 6mm wider than it’s predecessor but scoring serious sporty points.

Another cool feature hygiene enthusiasts will definitely appreciate is the optional ioniser feature that helps clean and improve the air quality inside the Panamera. A car that ionises the air inside, now who wouldn’t want that? Extra options include steering wheel heating and an auxiliary heating system with remote control.

Under the hood, the new Porsche Panamera 4S is powered by a V6 twin-turbo engine with a maximum torque of 550Nm while the Panamera Turbo sports a V8 twin-turbo engine with a maximum torque of 770Nm. Both models are equipped with an 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) drive system — an active all-wheel drive with an electronically- and map-controlled multiplate clutch, and variable torque distribution between front and rear axles.
