Lenovo’s new 2021 series consists of four new gaming laptops (Lenovo Legion 7, Legion Slim 7, Legion 5 Pro and Legion 5) as well as two accessories (Legion S600 Gaming Station and H600 Wireless Gaming Headset).

What’s new for the Lenovo Legion 2021 collection, you ask? Read on for the most notable upgrades to the line.

On the Legion 7 and the Legion 5 Pro, you’ll find the world’s first 16” QHD (2560 x 1600 pixels), 16:10 gaming laptops. That’s right — no more 1080p resolution displays.

The IPS screen display offers a whopping 11 percent more screen estate compared to the regular 15.6′ displays, complete with 165Hz refresh rates and 3ms response time with NVIDIA® G-SYNC and AMD FreeSyncTM support.

Artificial intelligence is all the rage these days, and Lenovo has tapped on the same technology to extract every ounce of performance from next-generation processors.

Some games require more CPU power, while others require more GPU power. The Lenovo Legion AI Engine is the solution to overclocking your PC’s performance by routing Thermal Design Power (TDP) between the CPU and GPU to achieve maximum frames per second (fps) in different games.

The most ideal TDP settings have already been pre-programmed into the AI Engine for the top 16 Triple-A gaming titles, and the AI Engine will use machine learning to continuously fine-tune gaming performance for a better user experience each time.

Laptop gaming gets a ton of flak not just for its lack of speed compared to its desktop alternative, but also its thermal considerations. Thankfully, the Legion 2021 series comes with multiple thermal sensors that predict your system’s thermal curve to help avoid bandwidth throttling, as well as an intelligent intake system that features turbo-charged dual- fans and quad-channel exhausts with vapour chamber technology. Need more control? Users can instantly adjust the fan speed and voltage by pressing the Function + Q key for maximum, Intelligent (AI) or silent power modes.

What’s a new gaming laptop without updated accessories? Here to complete your setup is the Legion S600 Gaming Station, a sleek device that comes with a revolutionary hang-to-charge technology for the H600 Wireless Gaming headset. Better yet, there are two additional USB ports on the bottom of the stand that’ll make it a breeze to connect or charge your gadgets.

The Legion 2021 Collection will be available from early-April 2021 on Lenovo’s authorised resellers and official websites (Lenovo, Lazada, Shopee).
