With their unyielding goal to make the world a healthier place, Fitbit has launched the Fitbit Versa in KL as the latest addition to their smartwatch selection. The leading wearable technology brand has revealed their most intuitive fitness features ever.

“As the wearables category continues to grow, Fitbit Versa fills a critical need in the market by delivering a beautifully designed, full-featured smartwatch that is easy to use at a very competitive price,” said James Park, co-founder and CEO of Fitbit. “Versa brings consumers the advanced health and fitness features Fitbit is known for, along with broad compatibility across mobile platforms and 4+ days battery life.”

A 4+ day battery life is extremely useful for a device designed to stay on your wrist and monitor your health but here are some other exciting new features that sets the Versa apart from your average smartwatch.

1
Female Health Tracking

The company is especially focused on female health tracking and this new feature will help to log your period, record symptoms, track ovulation and discover patterns in your cycle. Tracking the menstrual cycle is extremely important as new research shows that it is a key indicator of ones overall health. Giving your doctor data on your menstrual cycle can be just as vital as a blood test or a urine sample. Female health tracking will be available on-device for Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Ionic users, and to all Fitbit app users starting in May 2018.

2
On-Screen Workouts

The Fitbit Versa comes with Fitbit Coach and three free bodyweight exercise options. Short videos or animations on your smartwatch shows you the proper form of each exercise. These free exercises include the 7-minute workout, 10-minute Abs, and Treasure Chest. These are great options for basic workouts and if you would like to take it further, for an extra annual subscription fee, there are even more  personalised workouts to give you guidance through every move.

3
PurePulse Technology and Heart Rate Zones

Get continuous heart rate tracking 24/7 following your trends over time. The PurePulse Technology allows Fitbit to monitor your heart better than ever before. It tracks total calorie burning by measuring how hard your heart is working, both all day and during workouts. So heart-pumping activities that don’t affect your step count still give you credit for your effort. During workouts, heart rate zones gauge how much you’re exerting yourself so you can check your workout summary in the Fitbit app to view whether you can go harder or tone dial back your efforts all for a healthier heart.

4
Wallet-Free Payments

A built-in NFC chip lets you store and use credit cards right from your watch. With Fitbit Pay, shopping is more seamless than ever. Add your credit or debit card to your Versa and then you can use your watch to complete purchases. Every time you use Fitbit Pay, you’ll get the same rewards, points, miles and other perks that you’d receive with your physical card.

5
Sleep Stages

The new Sleep Stages feature gives you insights into your sleep patterns better than ever before. Fitbit trackers can measure your time spent in each sleep cycle (light, deep and REM.) This makes it easy for you to understand your sleep quality and learn whether you spent enough time in each sleep stage. It learns your sleeping trends to then provide the most consistent and optimum sleeping schedule for you to stick by, improving your overall health.

6
Your watch, Your style

Wear your Fitbit watch the way you want! Fitbit is offering more accessories than ever before. Choose from a number of interchangeable clock faces, colours and straps including the comfortable stain-resistant classics for when you’re working out, high quality handcrafted Horween leather for a casual style or sleek, professional metallics and mesh.

Fitbit Versa is now available for RM 990 in black with a black
aluminum case, gray with a silver aluminum case, or peach with a rose gold aluminum case.

Fitbit Versa Special Edition will retail for RM 1,120 and accessories ranging from RM 130 to RM 420.
