The love Dior has for Shawn Stussy knows no bounds as it taps up the streetwear legend once more with a tableware collaboration.
Just when you thought he was done, Stussy comes back into the world of fashion once more. This time, he’s working with Cordelia de Castellane, the creative director of Dior Maison and the brains behind the project. This tableware collection echoes from Kom Jones’ Fall 2020 men’s collection, featuring similar motifs and designs created by Stussy himself.
This change of identity for Dior has been breathtaking thus far; Stussy breaks barriers with Dior’s logo, turning it into a graffiti tag with graphic prints, tying back to his days when starting up his own eponymous surfing and streetwear brand. From the runway to the countertop, this collection of plates and mugs pays tribute to the artistic dialogue that Christian Dior holds dear to.
The entire collection consists of a decorative plate at 120 pounds (approx. RM642), a dinner plate at 80 pounds (approx. RM428), a dessert plate at 70 pounds ( approx. RM374), and two different variations of a mug at 160 pounds (approx. RM856) each.
While it isn’t readily available in Malaysia currently, it is available online at the Dior UK store.
