If spending all that time at home this year has awakened an interior design streak in you, good news. Net-a-Porter has expanded its Lifestyle section, much to the delight of those of us in the middle of a home makeover (and to the surprise of others who thought the website only sold fabulous clothes). The luxury online retailer has introduced two very important categories: decorative objects and soft décor.

Under the first one, you’ll find an array of artistic bowls, boxes and baubles from the likes of L’Objet and Lauren Rubinski. Net-a-Porter has also added more brands to the mix, such as Anissa Kermiche, the London label whose ceramic pieces inspired by the female figure have spawned countless copies; and CompletedWorks, also from London, who makes ceramic vases that are as abstract and sculptural as their beloved jewellery.

The category also includes more mystical pieces that you can get to keep 2020’s bad vibes out of your house. You can choose between Kimberly McDonald’s geometric objects, embedded with mineral geodes, or newcomer brand JiaJia’s quartz and amethyst crystal clusters.

If you’re just looking for something that smells good, check out Net-a-Porter’s candle collection, boasting established names like Fornasetti, Byredo and Diptyque (yes, you can actually do your Christmas gift shopping outside of Orchard).

As for the “soft décor” category, your options include luxurious cashmere throws from Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli and, for the first time, Erdem. You’ll find the British signature florals knitted across a couple of super soft merino wool and cashmere blankets, both exclusive to Net-a-Porter. They’d be great for draping across your couch to snuggle into during those holiday movie marathons.
