While today marks the end of London Fashion Week, you shouldn’t avert your attention away from the cosmopolitan city just yet — as it’s still hosting one of the world’s most exciting festivals, the London Design Festival. Reaffirming London’s status as the design capital of the world, the annual trade exhibition brings a blockbuster schedule of installations and events across the city as it celebrates its fifteenth year from 16 September to 24 September.
Just last week, Paris Design Week took over the awe-inspiring streets of the City of Light — establishing itself as a platform for both existing and emerging architects, interior designers and design connoisseurs. If you’ve missed it, don’t fret. We took the liberty to pick out five emerging French interior designers we think you should watch for.
London Design Festival is no different, as it has been helped put several world-renowned brands on the world’s radar in the past. One of its cornerstone events, 100% Design, have even been the launchpad of several names you might be familiar with by now — such as Ella Doran, Tom Dixon and Barber Osgerby. So we’re definitely excited to see the emerging talents this year’s edition have in store.
If you’re looking for new brands and designers to adorn your interiors with, look no further than the talents showcasing at London Design Festival. From a Singaporean furniture maker which features pieces by designer Nathan Yong to one offering minimalistic yet colourful chairs for your home, check out these emerging brands which are launching at this year’s festival.
