The House of Creed is an authentic luxury house dedicated to the creation of highly original fragrances made from exquisite ingredients.

The legend of the brand begins in 1760 when a pair of scented leather gloves was delivered to King George III by a new London tailoring company. Founded by James Henry Creed in the same year as the young King’s accession, the House of Creed has created fragrances for the discerning and the discriminating for over 260 years.

From father to son, a legacy that spans centuries

Today Olivier Creed, “Créateur Parfumeur” and direct descendant of James Henry Creed, continues this great tradition. Accompanied by his son Erwin, Olivier travels extensively to source, research, inspect and commission the finest materials. Rose from Bulgaria, Turkey & Morocco; Italian jasmine; Florentine iris; tuberose from India; Haitian vetiver; Bourbon vanilla; Calabrian bergamot and Parma violets. These are just a few of the treasures in the Creed laboratory.

Erwin Creed

Still based in Paris, with a factory at Fontainebleau, Creed manufactures many of its own essences using a traditional technique — a process now abandoned by most as too costly but which sets the Creed fragrances apart from some of their modern counterparts. The high-quality natural raw ingredients are still weighed out, mixed and macerated by hand. The process is labour-intensive but Creed is driven by artistry and perfection.

Because the House of Creed is known to only use the best ingredients, it is at the mercy of Mother Nature. If a certain ingredient is not up to the Creed standard, Olivier Creed and his son would wait until the next harvest than to use subpar ingredients in their fragrances — ensuring nothing but excellence for loyal customers.

A fine selection of classic and contemporary fragrances

The House of Creed fragrances are specially made for those looking to express their strong and powerful personalities. From the tartly fruity yet refreshing bergamot that makes up Silver Mountain Water — one of the house’s most popular fragrances — to the luxuriously warm and romantic Millésime Impérial, each pleasant scent aims to tell a personal story.

The Aventus Collection, among the most sought-after fragrances by the House of Creed, includes the rich and iconic Aventus Eau de Parfum — made for the classic gentleman, the fragrance is synonymous with modern-day elegance. The scent combines notes of lemon, pink pepper and Italian bergamot with a fresh and floral heart of juicy pineapple, sweet jasmine and Indonesian patchouli; completed with a base of oakmoss, cedarwood and The House of Creed’s signature ingredient, ambergris.

First introduced in 2016, the house’s Aventus for Her was introduced as the feminine counterpart to Aventus and is inspired by history’s most powerful women. Capped in a unique and modern bottle, the fragrance combines the notes of crisp green apple, pink pepper, Calabrian bergamot and Indonesian patchouli. Together with Bulgarian rose, sandalwood and musk, the Aventus for Her is an opulent and sensual perfume that celebrates both femininity and empowerment.

Completing the Aventus Collection is the Aventus Cologne, as the fresher counterpart to Aventus. This cooler counterpart encourages a universal approach and enthuses the spirit of the original fragrance, and is long-lasting on the skin. The Aventus Cologne is sophisticated as it is iconic; a citrus fruity scent with uplifting notes of ginger, pink peppercorn and mandarin. Couple that with hearty notes of patchouli, vetiver and pineapple, the dry and woody base of birch, musk and styrax: you get Aventus Cologne, an exquisite scent of true distinction.

Over centuries, the House of Creed continues to bequeath more than just impeccably surprising scents but a piece of history that intensifies the story behind each bottle. As the fragrance unfolds with its nuanced expressions, one will discover the spirit of time that lives in it — a personification of the people the fragrance is inspired by.
