Although travelling abroad may be out of the question temporarily but there’s no harm in getting yourself engrossed in the latest Autumn/Winter trends. Whether you’re on the hunt for your next birthday gift or is simply looking for the latest styles to flaunt out and about in this humidity – boy, we sure do have various options to make it work. This time, we’re focusing on what accessories to glamourise your feet in, what bags you can expect to hit the stores and what jewellery pieces you should focus on to pair with your end of the year holiday get-up. If you’re curious to find out what’s trending, be prepared to take notes and scroll below.
Boots and plush galore
It’s all about covering up and making yourself (and your feet) feel protected this Autumn/Winter season. You can either invest in staples cowboy boots in rugged leather or out-there chrome to make a statement in – the Isabel Marant boots are our favourite. Take note of the incredible platform shoes by Versace that conquered the runway in bold hues and the trick to styling this footwear is to pair thick socks or colourful-printed leggings to match. Wear it loose and flowy at the top and cover your feet at the bottom with this funky trick.
Belts are a necessity to every women’s wardrobe and while opting for a fail-proof black leather belt may be your first go-to choice, but it’s all about standing out with a quirky buckle next season. You can go sweet and subtle with an elegant bow a la Oscar de la Renta or opt for intricate details with emblems and studs, just like Isabel Marant. Another thing we noticed is how bold corset belts are right now with embroidery to complement the garment you’ll layer under. You can either contrast your outfits with a simple but statement belt or go crazy with the colours by colour blocking your belt with a vibrant sweater (or tee) like how Loewe did.
You can never go wrong with a good crossbody bag to invest in and it seems that soft colours with warm tones are very in next season. From structured to plush, it’s clear that the style is making sure you can fit all of your essentials with ease. Take a look at Hermès latest It-bag where all you (literally) need in your crossbody are your essentials if you’re out on your errands to run. Going simple is the key and we’re loving the idea of it.
Go big or go home – it’s time to give your ears a moment with chunky shoulder-graze earrings. You can either go for fringe, minimal-shaped or flower-shaped earrings to make a statement over your attire. And if you’re in a rush, don’t worry about thinking what accessories to pair this earrings with as it’s already an accessory on it’s own.
