That’s why Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) Malaysia, a registered society run by volunteers focuses on neutering. The process begins with capturing them using humane traps. They are then brought over to a veterinary clinic where they get sterilised.
Sterilising the dogs will minimise the population of community dogs, while nuisance behaviors such as aggression and howling are also substantially reduced.
While the dogs get released back to the site of capture, a caregiver will monitor them over time while providing food and drink. The organisation is also currently doing their best to re-home as many dogs and cats as they can.
