Officially kicking off Milan Men’s Fashion Week.
For its last fashion show, Ermenegildo Zegna shined a spotlight on nature. It wasn’t just through the sustainable, recycled fabrics of the relaxed suits that glided past our screens during the Italian brand’s digital presentation. The setting itself was a highlight: The Oasi Zegna nature park, in all its preserved, verdant glory.
It was creative director Alessandro Sartori’s way of bringing some life to a season of virtual fashion shows. “At Zegna, we believe that the human being always sits at the centre, in harmony with nature,” he said. “Without man, everything would be soulless.”
Fast forward to now. We’ve more or less accepted that regular fashion shows are simply out of the question. That’s why, today, Zegna is presenting The (Re)set, its Fall/Winter 2021 collection. Its mission? “(Re)tailoring the modern man.”
It all sounds a little vague, but you’ll get your answers when the show goes live today, 15 January, at 10.00pm (Malaysia time). Be one of the first in the world to catch the premiere in the livestream below.
