We’ve seen plenty from the past few rounds of fashion week — including streetwear trends and memes on big, puffy tulle dresses, both from the recent Paris Fashion Week. Let’s not forget that Karl Lagerfeld also debuted his first menswear collection for Fendi. There is a lot going on and we hope that you manage to catch up before fashion week for the ladies begins next month.
Before we dive into another round of fashion week, here are our latest fashion obsessions.
Anya Hindmarch’s Eye Cross-Body bag
We see you, and so does the bag! Anya Hindmarch updated her best-selling Eyes Cross-Body bag — its shape and silhouette now have a much softer construction compared to previous one. The mini cross-body bag has fewer seams thanks to the turned edges, added on with a bonded lining and tassel zip-pulls for a more stylish finish. Instead of plain leather, the bag comes in a snake print version — doubling its bold appeal with a statement texture.
Burberry’s TB bag
We all love the Belt Bag but that doesn’t mean we don’t have the extra space to love other bag types. The TB Bag is one of the most memorable items from the runway, which features Riccardo Tisci’s brand new Burberry logo on its front and structured with panels as well as a thick strap for comfort. This bag is introduced once again in Burberry’s latest campaign, which focuses on the Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Tisci also collaborates with six photographers and some of the world’s famous models and personalities including Stella Tennant, Irina Shayk and Joe Plunkett. The picture above is shot by Hugo Comte, which features the TB bags in various sizes and colours.
Fendi’s Baguette bag
Yes, the name of the bag is Baguette, which stems the original French baguette bag designed in 1997 by Silvia Venturini Fendi — it is meant to be carried under the arm, like a baguette. Fendi‘s new fun-named bag makes a comeback this season with more sizes, colours and material. Now it’s slightly re-proportioned, in a new oversized design and a mini version that will still fit your daily essentials. These are our current favourites, one in denim and another in the new eye-catching soft FF logo embossed in leather in shades of pastel. No matter how the design evolves, the bag will still hold the brand’s unique DNA and unique craftsmanship.
Strathberry’s East/West bag
When the East/West bag meets Scotland’s spectacular landscapes, soft and delicate hues encase the bag — it is the main colour palette for not only this bag but also the entire Strathberry Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Aside from the new shades, the shoulder strap has also been reinvented with metal studs as well as black and vanilla tones added to give a contemporary edge that reflects Scotland’s urban landscape.
