This week in the fashion world, we’re seeing a lot. Starting with Vans and Vincent van Gogh’s collection, which is proof that fashion collaborations are not limited to just fashion brands. Each item is literally pieces of art you can wear on yourself.

Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week is also happening next week from the 8th of August until 12th of August at Pavilion KL, and we have amazing prizes to give away for KLFW2018. Let’s cut the chase and look at the current fashion obsessions happening around the world.

Burberry’s new logo

While we wait for Riccardo Tisci’s debut collection at London Fashion Week in September, and his first collaboration under Burberry with Vivienne Westwood in December 2018, the designer just dropped a brand new logo and monogram that will represent the British label in the upcoming shows. He incorporated the letters ‘T’ & ‘B’ from Thomas Burberry, interlocking the two in white and orange over a brown background. It’s a new monogram specially designed to celebrate the heritage of the fashion house.

Diorcolorquake eyewear

Large, square, and colourful, these DiorColorQuake sunglasses are inspired by the fun and young 1970s. Even the name of the collection is taken from the Youthquakers during that era, radiating new energy from the young generation. They are all flat with pared down lines, looking like monochrome glass masks but with an edge. These show-stopping sunglasses are part of Dior‘s Autumn-Winter 2018-2019 collection, where every model is seen wearing them down the runway in a wide array of colours.

Chanel Coco Neige

Karl Lagerfeld has recently released a whole new collection devoted to the winter — and we’re not talking about jackets and scarves. This is dedicated to winter sports, so you’ll be able to discover ski jackets and gloves, chic sweaters, hats and even eyewear that you can wear to stay fashionable on the slopes and après-ski. If you’ve not noticed, Academy Award-nominated actress Margot Robbie fronts this campaign.

Fendi x Rilley

Collaborating with a streetwear brand seems to be the trend these days, but Fendi’s collaboration with Rilley is one that is quite interesting in our books. Key pieces from the collection debuted during Fendi’s FW 2018 show, including sweaters, a shopping bag, and a fanny pack for the men. Each of them has the special logo on top; with the logo design being commissioned by Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi to Highsnobiety collaborator, @hey_reilly.
