No, it’s not New York Fashion Week — yet. While people are all gearing up on the shows coming up in September, we’ve included some exciting items into our ever-growing list of fashion obsessions.

Salvatore Ferragamo’s Refracted heels

Salvatore Ferragamo took shiny, sparkly and reflective heels to another level. Introducing the Refracted heels — designed by Creative Director Paul Andrew to reflect the rich diversity of the world we live in today. There are five Refracted shoes — which also come in three different heights, in this collection, but they all have one thing in common and it’s the Refracted heel. Constructed from highly durable yet ultralight plastic, it is then coated with a high-tensile galvanised metallic shell plastic. Laser-carved topography of irregular triangular facets gives the shoes its reflectiveness. So you’ll know that the shoes will look great at any angle in a photo.

Dior Autumn/Winter 2019-2020 Collection

Every new collection from Dior tells a story — and this time, Maria Grazia Chiuri took inspiration from Teddy Girls, who were female counterpart to Teddy Boys – one of the first British subcultures. It’s a revisit to 1950s, which Maria Grazia Chiuri herself seldom explore. She used similar silhouettes with what the girls wore back in the 50s, which were Edwardian-style men’s jackets with velvet scarves, ample skirts, jeans and black leather jackets.

Fendi x Jackson Wang

FENDI x Jackson Wang Capsule Collection will be launching in 33 selected FENDI boutiques and on starting from July 20th, 2019.
FENDI announces the launch of a special Capsule Collection created in collaboration with Jackson Wang, popular singer, songwriter and the Maison’s brand ambassador in China.

If you haven’t heard, Fendi just launched a capsule collection in collaboration with singer, songwriter and the Maison’s brand ambassador in China, Jackson Wang. The collection is the perfect between the two; Fendi’s DNA and Jackson Wang’s cool and recognisable style. Hence, you’ll notice that black colour and the tone-on-tone iconic FF logo make up the signature look of this collection. Baguette bags for men also made its debut, with a black velvet flap. Other pieces include a clutch, baseball hat, jumpers and trousers. A special ‘FENDI Team Wang’ logo is also added on to all of them, giving them an exclusive touch.

Yves Saint Laurent iPhone cases

Yves Saint Laurent just released iPhone X and XS Max phone cases that simply embody the brand’s cool and timeless designs. All three varieties are crafted in its iconic black calfskin leather and come with two card slots for maximum functionality. Those who own the iPhone X are able to choose from either the smooth leather finish with a silver-tone YSL hardware on the face or a grainy embossed finish with a tonal YSL emblem. As for iPhone XS Max, only the smooth finish version is available. Either case design you pick will definitely be a recognisable YSL piece even from afar.

Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta also just recently revealed its fall campaign. It’s an extension of what Creative Director Daniel Lee envisioned for the brand since taking over the creative helm last year. A modern, unapologetic luxury — stark sun-bleached concrete basin in Joshua Tree, California; with eternal blue sky and broad horizons, warmth and sensuality, set the scene. “Strength, sensuality, being in the moment. Bottega Veneta is about defining a point of view, a new way of seeing subtle individuality, and then subverting that status”, said Daniel Lee.
