Hello, 2019! It’s the beginning of a new year and to kick things off — our current list of fashion obsessions. Aside from certain fashion giants getting sued and Bruno Mars gifting Audemars Piguet Extra-Thin Jumbo Royal Oak watches to his band, there is still a couple of news and products that made the list.

There may be many new places to visit, new things to do to get started on your New Year’s resolutions, but as usual, the fashion globe is forever spinning — so let’s get started, shall we?

Fendi Fiend sunglasses

Adding on to the list of quirky sunglasses is this pair from Fendi Spring/Summer 2019 Men’s Fashion Show. These retro-looking sunglasses have a narrow metal shape with ultra-flat front and extra-light surface, which are further enhanced using a special frame construction defined by a thin metal thread running around and over the lenses for maximum lightness. The design is inspired by the creative setting of their SS19 Men’s Fashion Show, bringing futuristic designs merged with art and contemporary trends to the next level.

Longchamp x Mr.Bags

While we’re still glowing from the new year festivities, just around the corner is Chinese New Year. Mr. Bags once again revisited his favourite travel bag, the Longchamp’s Le Pliage Cuir and this time it is a reinterpretation for the Year of the Pig. The bags feature the pig in a series of bold lines, designed by Mr. Bags himself. On the front, you’ll see a curly tail; back is a pair of pointy ears and two dots for eyes; there’s also something underneath the flap that you have to see for yourself. Available in black or pastel pink, the collection extends further with two designs: a pouch shaped like a pig’s snout and a tote in transparent PVC with a pink, snout-shaped coin purse.

Michael B. Jordan’s first Coach campaign

The Black Panther actor was introduced as Coach’s new Global Menswear Ambassador back in fall 2018. Now we’re just a few days shy into 2019 and we are graced with his first campaign with the brand. Shot by Craig McDean against the desert outside of Los Angeles, Michael B. Jordan posed casually on a vintage sports car, dressed in Coach and the Signature Rivington Backpack by his side. The entire Spring 2019 campaign set up is inspired by the “backstage” look set at a fading carnival.
