New York Fashion Week will soon be upon us, so expect a lot more from the fashion industry for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. But for now, let’s adore these new additions of fashion obsessions in our ever-growing wishlist.
Porter Classic’s Smart Watch Case
Now you can transform your Apple Watch into a vintage pocket watch with this new release from Porter Classic. Unlike other conventional bands (that are mostly made out of rubber), this silver case brings class to your outfit. The case is handcrafted with a solid chunk of precious metal, which has a clasp on top that resembles a pocket watch. Royalty 3 Way Watch Chain (sold separately) can be used together with this case — which really brings the entire look together — serving timeless class without losing the technology part.
Louis Vuitton Tambour New Wave
Louis Vuitton‘s newest timepiece is the Tambour watch, but combined with the latest leather goods collection, New Wave. You’ll be able to spot little features on the timepiece that signifies the New Wave collection. For example, the font used on the straps and unique quilted dial — which is made using a special stamp to recreate the softness of leather, and the minute circle is punctuated with emblematic Monogram flowers. Available in three different diameters – 28, 34 and 39.5 mm – this quartz model also comes with diamonds horns on the 34 mm version. The 39.5 mm model on the other hand has a chronograph function.
Fred Perry’s Tie-Dye Polo Shirt
The brand is always known for its classic, chic polo T-shirts. Simple yet an icon that many want no matter what size or shade. But for August, Fred Perry introduces a splash of colour — literally. Tie-dye designs are always a hit and a miss throughout the years since the 60s. It’s a sign of freedom and resistance, that many wore proud no matter the occasion. Fred Perry incorporated that same swirls to its polo T-shirts. These designs are available in blue and pink, and also a T-shirt version for those who want a simpler design.
Off-White’s 2.8 Jitney Bag
Details and accessories are what we think Virgil Abloh’s forte lies in — look at how successful and iconic has the industrial belt become. He continues his legacy with a brand new bag design for Off-White, the Jitney Bag. Design and name are inspired by the Hampton Jitney bus line, meant to highlight its universality with people from no matter which social backgrounds use to arrive in the same destination. A variation of the bag is available, including calfskin and checkered prints. But our favourite is the 2.8 Jitney Bag, which features the Off-White logo as the buckle, and texts that run across the bag — ‘logo’, ‘turn to open’, ‘cash inside’ and ‘for personal use only’ at the back.
