Many parties are affected by the destructive pandemic that is COVID-19, but little attention has been paid on the children.

Loewe recently announced its desire to remedy that by collaborating with Plataforma de Infancia — a Spanish alliance of social organisations that work together to protect the rights of children and adolescents.

How the fashion brand plans to do that is by first donating €500,000 to educational projects in collaboration with the platform, and subsequently donating €40 for every product sold from the Paula’s Ibiza collection, between the months of May to August 2020. These ‘educational projects’ include launching a series of programmes in Spain during the summer, aiming at reducing inequality and school dropouts.

But that isn’t all that Loewe is doing to contribute to the fight against the Coronavirus. It will also be donating 100,000 surgical masks to the Spanish Red Cross to help aid the frontliners in battling against this pandemic. The brand is also producing non-surgical masks in its Getafe factory to be distributed to volunteer workers, Loewe employees, and their family members.
