Big Bang’s G-Dragon is partnering up with Nike once more for an all-new colourway after the success of its predecessor, the “Para-noise.”
At the time of writing, the first edition of the “Para-noise” in a black colourway and white swoosh is commanding a resale price of US$320 on StockX. (approx. RM1,316). This goes to show just how sought-after the Nike x G-Dragon AF1 “Para-noise” really is. To further cement its status as a ‘grail‘ to sneakerheads, there is also a Korea-exclusive edition of the “Para-noise”, which is going for US$2,800 (approx. RM11,515).

Given just how popular G-Dragon is, it’s no surprise that his collaboration with Nike will send sneakerheads and K-pop fans alike through the roof. The second edition of the “Para-noise” will feature the same silhouette as before, but with a twist.
This time, it’ll be in a reverse colour scheme of white with a black swoosh as well as other details that can be found even in the first edition. Thankfully, it still retains its self-expressive character with G-Dragon viewing self-actualisation as a way through challenging times, a mindset he calls “Youtopia.”
The upper of the shoe will disintegrate over time due to the thin layer of paint on the shoe. The soles of the “Para-noise” feature different sets of artwork. You can also spot detailing from G-Dragon’s label, PEACEMINUSONE.
The white upper of the “Para-noise” gives way to the painting, allowing each wearer to create a unique aesthetic to the shoe based on their own unique journey. On the tongue of the shoe, you’ll also spot the same sunflower emblem, which is the logo of G-Dragon’s record label, PEACEMINUSONE.
The second edition of the Nike x G-Dragon “Para-noise” will be dropping globally this 25th November 2020 with a retail price of RM829.
