Style tip: Nude heels can give you the illusion of long legs

People often aim to look taller and slimmer both in person and pictures. Thus, the reason why people prefer to wear black instead of white, or vertical stripes instead of horizontal ones. Same goes for footwear, where you’ll look taller and have better walking posture in heels compared to flats.

Putting on a pair of heels does the job but nude-coloured ones, however, elevate an illusion of longer-looking limbs. It could be because the shade gives no visual break from the legs, unlike other coloured heels that have a high contrast against your skin tone. Nude heels create a streamlined effect, thus the illusion of longer looking legs.

Nudes are also as timeless as black — easy to match and suitable for any occasion. While the only downfall of these nude heels that they are limited in shades but that is quickly resolved with brands like Christian Louboutin, who expanded their nudes collection last year.

Nevertheless, nude is indeed a neutral tone that will look great on any skin tone. Put them on and see how you’ll get legs for days in an instant.
