Malaysia will be the first Asia-Pacific country to showcase the Tiffany & Co. high jewellery collection in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur this August 1st to 16th.

Despite the hardened predisposition of precious stones, jewellers often look towards the beauty of nature as inspiration. It’s fitting, after all, when it was nature itself that birthed these gems. Echoing that sentiment is Tiffany & Co.‘s latest high jewellery collection, named ‘The Legendary Designs of Jean Schlumberger’.

For those unfamiliar, Jean Schlumberger is a known name in the world of jewellery design. His speciality is transforming Mother Nature’s best creations into gleaming works of wonder — and he’s done precisely that for Tiffany & Co. since 1956 when he first joined the brand. This time around, he lends his signature touch to the high jewellery collection.

True to his style, the high jewellery collection features a variety of flora and fauna, from the intricate Shell Brooch to the dazzling Fish Clip Brooch that almost looks like it’s come alive. We also love the Cooper Bracelet, a standout piece of accessory that is sure to dress up any outfit.

The Baguette Fringe necklace.

But the piece de resistance of ‘The Legendary Designs of Jean Schlumberger’ is definitely the Baguette Fringe Necklace, priced at RM3.7 million. This extraordinary piece is a show-stealer, featuring white baguette diamonds, round brilliant white diamonds, and a surprise blue sapphire at the clasp. The entire necklace has 780 diamonds and adds up to approximately 85 carats. It’s not just diamonds and sparkles, but also a test in skill — each diamond has been shaped to fit into the setting instead of the other way around, and is a juxtaposition of hard and soft textures, making it altogether feminine yet bold.

The Tiffany & Co. high jewellery collection will be available for viewing and purchase at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur outlet from August 1st to 16th 2020.
