Spring might’ve only just begun, but watchmakers like Breitling are already celebrating the vibrancy and energy of summer with brand new watches.

In anticipation of the warmer months ahead, the brand has launched the Chronomat Automatic 36 South Sea Capsule Collection, and she’s is clearly the free-spirited sister to its elegant Chronomat series. Three versions will be available, all of which perfectly embodies the breezy ease and effortless style that are associated with the season.

The special lacquered dials come in beige, midnight blue, and mint green, and are accented by striking gold indexes and hands for even more visual impact and of course, legibility. The retro-inspired watches also get diamond-set hour markers and a precious kaleidoscope of gems on their bezels for a tropical twist that can’t be missed, especially under the sun.

These beauties might evoke the warmth and carefree insouciance of summer, but inside it’s still serious business for Breitling. The South Sea Capsule Collection is powered by the Breitling Caliber 10, a COSC-certified chronometer that offers incredible precision and accuracy, as well as a respectable power reserve of approximately 42 hours.

If you’re curious as to how these watches might work with your wardrobe, Breitling’s partner DREST — the world’s first interactive luxury fashion mobile game — will allow you to play the role of a fashion stylist as you create outfits from global fashion brands alongside the watches. If you can’t wait to sport your new look IRL, the timepieces (as well as your entire outfit) can be seamlessly shopped for via the game. Talk about a whole new way of shopping.
