The chronograph is an instrument that has witnessed some of the most outstanding automotive sporting moments throughout history, and has become symbolic of fair play and good sportsmanship.
After all, victory on the tracks can only ever be judged by numerics in time. In the spirit of motor racing, Montblanc has released the limited edition TimeWalker ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph, a highly contemporary timepiece for the modern-day driver.

The brand refers to this timepiece as the “peak” of its TimeWalker collection, and we can see why: It features Montblanc’s exclusive, patented one-minute ExoTourbillon with a quick stop-second mechanism, as well as a monopusher chronograph with sectorial scales.
For the uninitiated, the ExoTourbillon is an innovative complication developed in-house by Montblanc’s master watchmakers, which is said to improve timekeeping performance and precision. A particularly useful feature is a quick stop-second mechanism, which directly halts the screw balance, allowing the user to set the seconds more accurately. In sport, every second counts.

The chronograph features its traditional elements, with a contemporary high-performance construction: Monopusher with column wheel, efficient and precise vertical coupling, automatic winding and two barrels.
Design wise, there’s no TimeWalker quite like this one. With a sleek all-black coating, heavy-duty titanium and carbon fibre case, and red framing, the timepiece exudes a modern, sporty look.

The TimeWalker ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph is limited to 100 pieces, at the price of RM188,400.
