There’s nothing like investing in a great timepiece to wear for life and this year’s releases under the LVMH Watch Week are worth looking into if you’re searching for the perfect match.
LVMH Watch Week was a week filled with exciting new releases and unique timepieces to adore. The best part is that there’s always something for everyone; whether you’re into a classy, sporty or elegant persona. The men’s timepiece range has always been about the latest mechanical features, along with the look and feel of it to match the wearer’s taste. However, the ladies eye would gaze towards an elegant feel with a side of diamond sparkles. This time, we’ve got three watch brands from Bulgari, Hublot, and Zenith on our radar, and these are the new releases worth checking out.
Bulgari Serpenti Spiga
We’re sure you’re familiar with an iconic design like the Serpenti as Bvlgari is bringing back the 2014 Serpenti Spiga design with a refined update. This 18ct rose gold, 35-mm Serpenti case and bezel piece is a stunner, especially with its gold bracelet set with diamonds. What makes it so unique is the 461 brilliant-cut diamonds surrounding the rose- or white gold bracelet that wraps around the wrist.
Bulgari LVCEA Intarsio Marquetry
A timeless piece to complement your everyday wear is the latest LVCEA Intarsio Marquetry. The Intarsio timepiece features a steel crown set with a cabochon-cut rubellite and diamond with a gorgeous grey mother-of-pearl dial. If you look closely at the dial, 3D mother-of-pearl pieces are applied to portray volume and iridescent sunray effects on the dial. It comes in two sizes from a 28mm quartz movement and a 33mm automatic movement with a black or grey alligator strap.
Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon orange sapphire
It’s hard to turn your gaze away at this unique timepiece. Hublot’s release of the Big Bag Tourbillion in this new orange shade is one design to keep a lookout for. With a diameter of 45mm and water-resistant at 30m deep; the timepiece is equipped with a self-winding feature and a visible micro-rotor on the dial. With its striking hue and harmonious pairing of the through-tinted sapphire, it makes sense how there will only be 50 limited edition pieces in the market.
Hublot Big Bang Integral Ceramic
Here’s something cool for a contemporary feel. Hublot’s Big Bang Integral Ceramic comes in three ceramic colours in white, navy blue and grey. If you’re not into bold colours and out-there designs, this timepiece might be your cup of tea. With a self-winding chronograph in a 42mm case, the Big Bang Integral is also built-in scratch resistance and soft to the skin with its low thermal conductivity. All three ceramics comes with a polished ceramic case in a satin finish with a case-back of sapphire crystals and a polished ceramic bezel.
Zenith Chronomaster Sport
The Zenith Chronomaster Sport is dedicated to those who are always on the move. This year, the Chronomaster range is back to blow you away. With a tri-colour dial and an automatic El Primero column-wheel chronograph; it can also measure and display the 1/10th of a second on the ceramic bezel. It also features an increased power reserve of 60 hours. Not only that, you can even choose between the metal bracelet or a blue Cordura bracelet to fit your style.
Zenith Defy 21 Urban Jungle
If green is your colour of the year, then you’re going to love the Zenith’s Defy 21 Urban Jungle. The luxe khaki green main plate on movement and an oscillating weight with satin finish call for a rugged yet elegant look. The 1/100th of a second chronograph movement pushes the limits for high-frequency precision and is highly scratch-resistant.
