Here’s a glimpse of the new Rosewood Phuket opening in November

Whenever we think of Phuket, we think of the perfect island getaway that ticks all the boxes: close in proximity, extremely easy to get to, and offers activities from partying to laid-back lounging. As such, we were only too thrilled to find out that the Rosewood Phuket will be opening its doors to guests from the 2nd of November 2017.  The opening of this new resort marks the first one for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in the South East Asian region.

The Ocean View Pool Pavilion is as picturesque in the day time as it is during sunset.

Rosewood Phuket will be located in Patong, nestled along a 600 metre beachfront at Emerald Bay. While some resorts aim to stand out with stark minimalistic or modern maximalist architecture, the Rosewood Phuket will see its 71 pool pavilions and villas blend into its natural tropical landscape. This is mostly made possible by the abundance of floor-to-ceiling windows and open-sided spaces in the resort, which visually lets the lush surroundings of the hilltop forest, wetlands, and beach in.

To further enjoy the idyllic views of southwestern Phuket, the Ocean View Pool Pavilion and two-bedroom Ocean House features a private infinity pool, and also interiors that incorporates both contemporary and traditional Asian and Western influences.

Floor-to-ceiling windows and open spaces help integrate the island’s natural surroundings into your luxury abode.

Moving on from the guest dwelling, the resort offers a wide range of dining and wellness options, ensuring that your time in the resort is well taken care of without needing to venture out. For a nice sit-down meal, take your pick from Ta Khai, an authentic Thai restaurant to Red Sauce, an Italian restaurant with a beautiful view of the bay. The Shack offers simple seafood fare by the pool, while Mai is a poolside lounge with a chic ambiance, perfect for sundown drinks.

Naturally, one can’t visit a beach resort without surveying its spa options. Asaya, Rosewood’s integrated wellness concept, will be available at the Rosewood Phuket. There, you’ll be able to enjoy a bespoke program that includes alternative therapies, lifestyle coaching, fitness activities and specialised healing practices.

But if it’s a fuss-free experience you’re looking for at Rosewood Phuket, check out the resort’s “Charms of the Andaman” introductory offer, a specially tailored program. The experience includes a two-hour bespoke Asaya experience, have a personal consultation with the resident wellness practitioner, and guests will also have the chance to blend their own essential oils with herbs freshly plucked from the garden. Guests will also be taken on an exciting culinary adventure at Ta Khai where they can watch the chefs prepare their dishes. To further enhance the experience, “Charms of the Andaman” also includes a VIP airport fast track service for direct international flights and airport transfers.

Rates for “Charms of the Andaman” start from US$5,350 for a minimum four-night stay in an Ocean View Pool Pavilion for two persons, including tax and service charge. However, the validity period for this offer is from the 2nd of November 2017 until the 15th of April 2018. Mark your dates.
