Splurge: Stay in Dubai’s most expensive hotel yet starting at RM3,333 per night

Dubai and its inhabitants are no stranger to extravagance. We’re pretty sure their gold-plated luxury sports cars, pet cheetahs, and commissioning the most expensive shoes in the world pose as solid evidence to that case. And it seems like that level of  extravagance is not about to come to a halt, as they have yet another gold-plated medal to add to their shelves: the opening of Dubai’s most expensive hotel yet, The Bulgari Resort & Residences Dubai.

Having unveiled four residences in London, Milan, Shanghai, and Bali, Bulgari adds a fifth one to their list with the recent opening of the Dubai resort and residences. Situated on yet another manmade luxury island in the shape of a seahorse, The Bulgari Resort & Residences Dubai will cost you a pretty penny with prices starting at just over US$800 a night.

Still, we think it’s worth the splurge. Measuring at 158,000 square metres, the resort is the high jewellery brand‘s biggest resort yet with 101 suites and rooms, and 20 villas with an option of sea, garden, or pool views. The amenities are not too shabby either, especially if you’re into some serious spa time. Indulge in the 1,700 square metre spa, which also has a hammam, indoor pool, fitness centre, and a beauty salon that offers everything your precious locks need. Because you’ll never know if you need a sudden hair makeover after all that indulgence, basically.

It also seems like you won’t ever need to leave Dubai’s most expensive hotel when you reside there, as the food options are equally amazing. There’s a gourmet restaurant Il Ristorante, an all-day cafe Il Cafe, Il Bar, and an exclusive beach club, La Spiagga. It’s so exclusive that it even has its own private beach.

If you have a little extra cash lying around, why not invest in something more permanent? There are six residential buildings to choose from, 173 of them being sea-facing apartments, and also 15 private mansions. Oh, Bulgari’s first ever Marina and Yacht Club is also available on the island.

Next on your Dubai checklist, perhaps?
