Elang Private Residence is the latest of the six islands that Bawah Reserve is developing in Indonesia.
Bawah Reserve will be launching Elang Private Residence this May 2020, designed with the eco-conscious traveller in mind. While here, expect to experience tranquillity thanks to its off-the-grid location, privacy, and sustainability. This private residence was developed as the owner’s residence with a small village to accommodate family and friends. It also features architectural designs that fit seamlessly into the local topography.
Barefoot luxury is the theme here with fittings of bamboo, driftwood, glass, and hand-cut stone. The lodges are gorgeous with high ceilings, separate living areas, and balconies boasting scenic views of the ocean. Despite its proximity to other lodges, you can be sure that each has been designed with privacy in mind, positioned carefully with private paths that lead towards hidden rocky coves.
The lodges here can be booked as a single if you’re coming with a partner, or if you have a group of friends looking for a getaway, you can even book out the entire island. There are six cliffside lodges within the resort and all come with personal butler service.
Other amenities within the resort include a guest-only Clubhouse that has a dining room and bar, The Kayu Spa, a saltwater infinity pool with a slide, an activities lawn, and the Beach House restaurant. The saltwater infinity pool has been fashioned out of a natural hollow, while The Kayu Spa is situated in a restored “joglo” – a traditional Javanese house that was gifted to the owner.
If you ever tire of your private island, know that all guests can also experience the restaurants and amenities over at Bawah’s main island just three minutes away via a boat ride.
