In 1996, French luxury skincare label, Clarins, opened the doors to its flagship Skin Spa in Wheelock Plaza.
Fast forward some 24 years, and the establishment has outgrown its former confines. Now, the Clarins Skin Spa has relocated to ION Orchard, where a 2,850 square feet spa space awaits on the mall’s fourth floor.
The venue keeps in theme with the Clarins image: clean lines, light wood and white are accented with punches of red — the brand’s signature hue. Verdant greens also dot the space, hinting to the brand’s dedication to botanical ingredients in their formulations.
Eight treatment rooms are housed in the space, including one for couples. There is also a powder room where the full range of Clarins’ products is available for post-treatment touch-ups, so you can easily fit a treatment into your midday routine without disrupting any events you may have after.
Nine facials, with one for men, two massages, two body treatments and one pregnancy treatment form the menu at the Clarins Skin Spa, all familiar to those who have visited the Wheelock outlet. The old shares space with the new in the form of an Aroma Ultra Relaxing Facial, which incorporates Ayurvedic principles and techniques into a soothing treatment.
Clarins Skin Spa offers treatments that are compact enough in duration to fit into a lunch hour or if you’re pressed for time. The longest is 75 minutes, though most tend to take one to half an hour, at most, to complete. Coupled with its extremely central address, the new location adds convenience to the allure of the already-established spa.
