The latest fragrance from the house of Tom Ford is the re-released Beau de Jour, an aromatic, refreshing fougère (French for “fern”) scent created for their Signature Collection. Lavender dominates the top notes, giving way for a geranium, rosemary, mint, oakmoss, and basil. Fragrance enthusiasts would find the scent familiar, for it was once part of the Tom Ford Private Blend collection.

Diptyque’s newest fragrance, the Eau Capitale, is a love letter to its home city of Paris. If anything, perfumer Antoine Maisondieu proves it’s possible to bottle up the essence of the Mediterranean in Salvatore Ferragamo’s eponymous fragrance. The fougère perfume has citrusy and woody tones thanks to the bergamot and lemon top notes, leading to violet accords and a leathery heart. This eau de toilette would make a great scent for a sunny summer day.

Beauty brand HERA has launched its first foray into men’s fragrances with the Black eau de parfum. The aromatic fragrance with a woody musk features top notes of bergamot, grapefruit, mint, pine, ginger, and Korean pepper that gives it a hint of citrus. It has a clean, aquatic heart and finishes with a base of dried amber, sandalwood, cedar, moss, and vetiver.
