Which Gucci Bloom fragrance is perfect for you? Find out here

If you want to make a lasting first impression, do it with the power of scent. They say that the sense of smell is so powerful, all it takes is a whiff to trigger a memory. You too can do that with your signature Gucci Bloom fragrance. With four variants of Gucci Blooms available, all you need to do is identify which one is perfect for you, and you’ll be set.

The original Gucci Bloom, for the strong and authentic woman

The first of the Gucci Bloom series is the original Eau de Parfum, crafted by Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele. It is the first Gucci fragrance developed under Michele’s creative vision, encapsulating his creative direction for the fashion brand. The original scent celebrates the authenticity, vitality and diversity of the women that Michele designs for. These are the women that are unapologetic about their individualism without committing to conventionalism. That is the original Gucci Bloom woman.

The fragrance itself embodies the woman — it’s like a thriving garden rich with flowers and the sweet scent it produces. There is Tuberose from India and Jasmine bud extract for a fresh green and petal scent on the skin. There is also Rangoon Creeper from South India, a plant used in perfume-making for the first time. The flowers from the vines give off a slightly powdery scent, bringing this heady floral perfume to a close.

Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori, for the innocent youthful ones

If there is a scent that encapsulates the spontaneity and joyfulness of youth, it would be Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori. This fresh and green version of the original Gucci Bloom celebrates the vitality and energy of friendship and youthfulness — both physically and at heart. It is uplifting and luminous, conveying the beauty of innocence.

The Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori scent retains the same notes of the original fragrance — Tuberose, Jasmine, and Rangoon Creeper — but adds on its own green notes of Galbanum and Cassis buds. These two additional accords lend a lighter, fresher, and greener note to the perfume, like swirling in a floral waterfall.

Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori, for the unapologetically sensuous woman

If the first two Gucci Bloom fragrances are feminine, then Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori is an amplified version — intense and unapologetic. It explores the mysterious and intimate character of a woman, as well as her confidence, authenticity, and her power to be unconventional. If you embody those values as a woman, then Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori is the perfect scent for you.

The underlying accords of the original fragrance are there, magnified with the addition of Rose and Osmanthus flower for a stronger floral scent. However, there is also a sensual touch to the scent, heightened with ginger in the top notes with Patchouli and Musk in the base notes. It’s an intense fragrance perfect to debut one’s sensual feminine side.

Gucci Bloom Gocce di Fiori, for the woman who enjoys subtlety

The fourth chapter in the Gucci Bloom fragrance series sees Gucci Bloom Gocce di Fiori debuting, a lighter version of the original fragrance. While the original is an intense field of flowers, Gucci Bloom Gocce di Fiori is a more delicate interpretation, perfect for the woman who enjoys the subtler things in life. The scent is likened to the budding first days of Spring, ethereal and soft like the season’s rain. Even its name, “Gocce di Fiori” translates to flower drops.

Like the original Gucci Bloom, Gucci Bloom Gocce di Fiori has notes of Tuberose, Jasmine, and Rangoon Creeper. However, it doesn’t follow the rules of the olfactory pyramid, that is, the top notes, middle notes, and base notes. The accords in this scent open altogether at once in a delicate burst of the three main flowers.
