Lady Gaga debuts her own beauty brand, Haus Laboratories

Rumours of Lady Gaga releasing a beauty brand can finally be put to rest — Mother Monster will be launching Haus Laboratories; with an image and campaign video of herself dancing (dressed in full glam, of course) on her Instagram account no less. Her long-awaited beauty brand is said to be available for pre-order on 15th of July 2019; official launch is in September.

“The last thing the world needs is another beauty brand, but that’s too bad,” she said in a voice-over during her promo video. “They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But at Haus Laboratories, we say beauty is how you see yourself,” she added.

According to Business of Fashion, Haus Laboratories will be releasing multi-use colour items for cheeks, eyes and lips in six shade families and kits containing all three products first. These will be priced at US$49. But how will her beauty empire compare to other dominating brands such as Jeffree Cosmetics and Kylie Cosmetics? Aside from the fact that it’s by Lady Gaga herself, the brand has exclusively teamed with Amazon to sell her collection. Get your wallets ready.
